Refund and Returns Policy

These policies govern all purchases made through the Hogs Offroad online store and should be read together. By using this website or placing an order, customers agree to these policies.

2. Definitions

Defines Customer, Website, Goods, Supplier, Courier, Business Day, Special Order, Manufacturer, Warranty and Force Majeure in their ordinary commercial meanings.

3. Website Terms of Use

The website may only be used for lawful purposes. Users may not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website, copy content without permission, upload malicious software, or misuse customer accounts. Hogs Offroad reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in fraudulent activity.

4. Electronic Communications

By using the website, customers consent to receive quotations, invoices, order confirmations, tracking information and other communications electronically in accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

5. Product Information

Hogs Offroad makes every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications and compatibility information are accurate. Manufacturers may change specifications without notice. Images are for illustrative purposes and colours or finishes may vary slightly.

6. Pricing & VAT

All prices are displayed in South African Rand. Pricing errors caused by human or technical error may be corrected. If an incorrect price has been displayed after an order is placed, Hogs Offroad may cancel the order and refund the customer in full.

7. Stock Availability

Products displayed online remain subject to supplier and warehouse availability. Should an item become unavailable after purchase, Hogs Offroad will contact the customer to arrange a refund, store credit or an alternative product.

8. Payment Policy

Orders are processed only once payment has been received in full. Ownership of goods remains with Hogs Offroad until payment has cleared.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Courier Guy or another approved courier will be used throughout South Africa. Dispatch normally occurs within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Estimated delivery is 3–5 business days after dispatch between 08:00 and 16:00. Courier costs are calculated at checkout. Customers may alternatively collect from Hogs Offroad. Tracking numbers are supplied once dispatched. Oversized items are carefully wrapped and protected before shipment.

10. Delivery Conditions

Customers must ensure the delivery address and contact details supplied are correct. Delivery dates are estimates and delays caused by couriers, supplier delays, weather, strikes, unrest or other events beyond Hogs Offroad’s control shall not constitute breach of contract.

11. Inspection on Delivery

Customers should inspect parcels before signing where possible. Visible courier damage should be noted immediately. Hidden damage or incorrect items must be reported within three days with clear photographs.

12. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Returns must be requested within five calendar days of delivery. Goods must be unused, uninstalled and returned in original packaging with all accessories. Incorrectly supplied, faulty or damaged goods will be collected or returned at Hogs Offroad’s expense. Where a customer ordered the incorrect item, a 10% handling fee applies and the customer is responsible for all courier costs. Refunds are processed by EFT after inspection. Exchanges are available only where packaging remains unopened and the product is unused.

13. Non-returnable Goods

Custom-made products, special-order products, electrical items once installed or used, recovery gear after use and any goods damaged through misuse or incorrect installation cannot be returned unless required by law.

14. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch subject to a R250 administration fee. Once dispatched, courier charges remain payable. Special-order items cannot be cancelled after being ordered from the supplier.

15. Warranty Policy

Hogs Offroad honours the manufacturer’s warranty applicable to each product. Warranty claims are inspected before approval. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, accidents, competition use, modifications, neglect or ordinary wear and tear is excluded. Labour, removal and refitting costs are excluded unless expressly covered by the manufacturer.

16. Fitment & Installation Disclaimer

Professional installation is recommended. Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility with their specific vehicle. Some accessories require drilling, trimming or vehicle modifications. Hogs Offroad accepts no liability for damage arising from installation by third parties or from failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

17. Consumer Protection

Nothing in these policies limits any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act. Where the CPA provides greater protection than these policies, the CPA will prevail.

18. Privacy Policy (POPIA)

Hogs Offroad collects only information necessary to process orders, provide support and improve customer service. Personal information is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. Information may be shared with payment processors, couriers or authorities where legally required. Customers may request access to or correction of their personal information.

19. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotions are available only during the advertised period while stocks last. Discount codes may not be combined unless expressly stated and have no cash value.

20. Intellectual Property

All website content including photographs, logos, graphics, descriptions and branding remains the intellectual property of Hogs Offroad or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written consent.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hogs Offroad shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising from the purchase or use of products. Liability is limited to repair, replacement or refund where legally required.

22. Force Majeure

Hogs Offroad shall not be responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control including supplier shortages, transport interruptions, floods, fires, pandemics, labour disputes, civil unrest, load shedding or government action.

23. Governing Law & Disputes

These policies are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation before either party institutes legal proceedings in a South African court.
